MAKEUP
CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua created the gorgeous makeup look her beauty look for Jessica Biel. “She wore a gorgeous, full-length dress with an incredible necklace that had an Egyptian vibe. With all the gold in her dress, we wanted to keep her makeup classic, modern and clean,” Says Kara.
Skin Prep
“My go-to is CHANEL Sublimage plus rose water. I’m also in love with CHANEL La Solution 10 de Chanel Sensitive Skin Cream. I use it on myself and everyone else — even all over the body!
Eyes
I did a very graphic cat eye to pop her look. We did a beautiful brown to keep it soft. I used CHANEL Écriture de Chanel Eyeliner Pen in Brun to create the cat eye, then applied lots of CHANEL Le Volume de Chanel. Her brows were soft and natural, lightly filled in with CHANEL Le Crayon Sourcil Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil in Blonde Clair.
Lips
The lip is so gorgeous, more of a stain. I’m obsessed with the shade of CHANEL Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour in Coco. Gold always look great with a red, but this is a nice sheer wash created with CHANEL Precision Lip Definer in Beige Satin and CHANEL Rouge Coco Ultra Hydrating Lip Colour in Coco.
Blush
I used a fan brush to apply her blush, CHANEL Powder Blush in Malice. Instead of adding color on the apples, I fanned color up along the orbital bone, toward the ear and down to the lip area.
Playing with a graphic eye is fun. Instead of liquid liner if you’re a makeup beginner, you can use CHANEL Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner.
HAIR
Adir Abergel did the hair honors for Jessica. “For Jessica’s hair, I took inspiration from various cultures, from hieroglyphics of an Egyptian goddess to studying the photos of traditional geishas,” says Abergel. “The key was in the architecture; I created a gorgeous foundation with Virtue Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner then sculpted it into place. The look is simple, shiny and elegant.”
To achieve Jessica Biel’s sleek updo with architectural details use Virtue Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner then create a center part to towel-dried hair and saturate with Virtue The Uplifted Volumizing Whip. Divide the hair into five sections, curling each section using a large barrel iron, and clip into place to set. To create the updo, gather and fold the hair starting at the nape of the neck, working it into a long, oval, architectural bun and secure into place with hairpins.
