Love this look on Amy Adams for the “Big Eyes” premiere, created by makeup maestro Stephen Sollitto. Here’s how he achieved this look, in his words.

Face: With a soft damp sponge I blended CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Sunscreen Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in 10 Beige into the skin. I then dusted CHANEL Limited Edition Camélia de Plumes Highlighting Powder on specific areas—the forehead, on top of the cheek bone, the bridge of the nose and chin—to brighten up the complexion. This way the skin looks glowing on the red carpet.

Cheeks: On her cheeks, I used CHANEL Powder Blush in Rose Initial for a perfect winter flush.

Eyes: I like starting the eye with one blank canvas. I love Jouer Buttercream eyeshadow for this. Then on the almond of the eye – at the corners and underneath the bottom lashes – I used the gold shadow from the CHANEL Limited Edition Les 5 Ombres in Oiseaux de Nuit. On the upper lash line I used CHANEL Le Crayon Khol Intense Eye Pencil in Noir and blended that with a small brush using CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Tissé Fantaisie, a deep copper and softer alternative to all black. Then to make the eyes really stand out, I traced the faintest line of CHANEL Ligne Graphique Liquid Eyeliner in Noir right at the outer corner of the upper lash line. To brighten the eyes I like to use CHANEL Limited Edition Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Or Blanc on the inner corners. Lastly, I used a coat of Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara for deep black lashes.

Lips: I wanted a lip that would make her eyes pop blue. At first I thought of red, but I didn’t want it to steal away from the dress so instead I chose a raisin color. I started with CHANEL Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Care to prep the lips. Then I chose CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in L’Amoureuse with a coat of CHANEL Glossimer in Giggle over it for a bit of shine. To keep the lip from feathering at the edges I outlined the lips with CHANEL Precision Lip Definer in Tulip.
