In honor of the marmalade noshing, cocoa drinking Paddington Bear (whose 50th birthday is today!), I rooted through my stash to find truly spectacular products that packaged in blue in honor of Paddington’s fab slicker.

Aveda’s Dry Remedy Shampoo, Mask and Conditioner are encased in gorge cornflower blue packaging and work wonders to render even the driest, most brittle hair glosstrously hydrated. The set, which includes all three items and a comb, will set you back $74. Aveda claims the the system improves dry hair up to 63%. I have no way of measuring the actual percentage (but as a financial editor, I find the usage of exact numbers/percentages amusing in the realm of beauté). I can assure you that you will notice an immediate improvement. The formula includes a floral aroma blend with certified organic palmarosa, ylang ylang and rose geranium, plus a hint of vanilla.

Aveda, I applaud you. You “tried so hard to get things right,” and you’ve succeeded. Even Paddington would agree that there’s no need for one of his legendary hard stares of disapproval.
