Kristen Stewart dazzled in a smoky eye courtesy at the New York City screening of On The Road, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson worked with Kristen Stewart for a screening of On The Road on Thursday, November 8th, 2012.

Beau on the inspiration: “I’ve done smoky eyes on Kristen about a hundred different ways, so I wanted to do something a little unique. I created a smoky, almost cat eye shape only on the top – no liner or shadow on the bottom lash line. This resulted in a more modern take on a smoky black eye.” Here’s how to get the look, straight from Beau.
“I started by doing the eyes first. I used MAC Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline as a cream eyeshadow on a brush to sketch out the shape of the eye, and blended the edges well, I then applied the matte black side of the NARS Duo Eyeshadow in Pandora over the pencil to set it and create a matte texture on the eyelid. I then used Kanebo Sensai Liquid Eyeliner in Black to make the lash line even blacker. I used L’Oreal Carbon Black Voluminous Mascara and I cut a pair of false lashes in half and used them on the outside corners of eyes.
I used Lancôme Bi-Facil Makeup Remover to clean up any fallout from under the eyes, and then moisturized the face with La Mer. I then applied Tom Ford Beauty Traceless Foundation #3 with a synthetic brush. I used Tom Ford Beauty Traceless Foundation Stick #3 in any areas that needed extra coverage (around the nose, the chin) and Bobbi Brown Corrector under the eyes to cancel any darkness. I lightly powdered the middle of the face and around the nose with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder.
On cheeks I contoured the face using MAC Pro Sculpting Cream and then I applied Burberry Blush in Tangerine, and used Kevyn Aucoin Candlelight Highlighter on the tops of cheekbones.
On lips I applied Burberry Lipstick in Cameo Pink.”
