HAIRSTYLE
Says Naselli, “I gave Kate a 60’s inspired tousled side swept chignon. To get Kate’s look I started by prepping her damp hair with Bumble & Bumble surf Spray from roots to ends and a quarter size amount of Bumble and Bumble Texture creme.  I made a deep side part and rough dried her hair to bring out her natural texture and add tons of volume.  This step helped maximize her naturally wavy texture.
Next, I took 1 1/2 inch sections of Kate’s hair and sprayed each section with Oribe’s Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray and wrapped each section around a 1 1/2 inch  barrel curling iron, set it, and let it cool.

When the hair was completely cooled down, I undid the setting and sprayed each section with Oribe Dry Texture Spray and gave each section a light tease at the root for volume and stability and brush out the top to smooth it all out.

I gathered the back and sides into a loose ponytail and wrapped it into a low Chignon.  Then pulled the front section to the back and secured it with a few hairpins.

To add Hold and Shine I finished off the whole updo with a spritz of Oribe Super Fine Hairspray  for hold, and Oribe Light Reflecting spray for mega shine.”

What do you think of Kate Mara’s look at “The House Of Cards” premiere?
