Oscars Makeup: Lin Peng

Mark makeup artist Fiona Stiles created this look for the lovely Lin Peng for the Oscars last night. Here’s how to get the look.

Face & Cheeks
“After moisturizing Lin’s skin, I applied mark Set Things Right Loose Perfecting Powder in Light and concealer. Next, I added a bit of mark That’s Brilliant Face & Eye Luminizer to the tops of her cheekbones to create a beautiful glow. Using my fingers, I patted a small amount of mark Just Pinched Instant Tint Brush in Nude to her cheeks, creating subtle contour and a fresh pink skintone. Next, I applied mark Just pinched Instant Tint Brush in Cheeky to create a lovely, softly flushed-face look.”

Eyes
“Lin’s carefully groomed brows framed her stormy grey smokey eye. First I applied mark I-mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Corset on her eyelid from her lash line to the crease. Then I layered on mark I-mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Storming blending the color upward. Next, I added a layer of mark I-mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Chenille to blend the edges and add a pretty shimmery sheen to her lids. I used mark I-mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Storming and mark I-mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Chenille again, sweeping the shades under her lower lashes to create a soft smokiness. To create bold eyes, I curled her lashes and applied mascara.
