Mani of the Week: Last Days of Summer

This mani is inspired by summer colors and the biggest nail art trend of the summer: swirls! To achieve this look, I paired the ORLY Electric Escape Summer 2021 Collection with the GLU Ice Cream Dreams Nail Polish Color Kit. Read on to learn how I achieved this mani!

What You’ll Need

1. Base Coat of your choice

2. ORLY Nail Polish in “Artificial Orange,” “Tangerine Dream,” “Neon Paradise,” and “Plastic Jungle”*

3. Color Club “Talk to the Hand” Nail Polish

4. GLU “Shades of U 1,” “Orange Juice,” and “Wildflower” Nail Polishes*

5. Auda.B Beauty “Casa Blanca” Nail Polish*

6. Matte top coat of your choice.

How To

Step 1: Apply base coat to all nails to protect your natural nails and help polish adhere better. 

Step 2: Apply GLU “Shades of U 1” to all nails as a base color.

Step 3: On the thumb nail, apply the following polishes in a swirl pattern to the tip of the nail—Auda.B Beauty “Casa Blanca” then ORLY “Plastic Jungle.”

Step 4: On the index finger nail, apply the following polishes in a swirl pattern to the tip of the nail—Auda.B Beauty “Casa Blanca” then GLU “Wildflower” then ORLY “Neon Paradise.”

Step 5: On the middle finger nail, apply the following polishes in a swirl pattern to the tip of the nail—Auda.B Beauty “Casa Blanca” then Color Club “Talk to the Hand” then ORLY “Artificial Orange.”

Step 6: On the ring finger nail, apply the following polishes in a swirl pattern to the tip of the nail—Auda.B Beauty “Casa Blanca” then GLU “Orange Juice” then ORLY “Tangerine Dream.”

Step 7: On the pinky finger nail, apply the following polishes in a swirl pattern to the tip of the nail—Auda.B Beauty “Casa Blanca” then ORLY “Kaleidoscope Eyes” then ORLY “Synthetic Symphony.”

Step 8: Apply matte top coat to all nails.
