Makeup artist Hung Vanngo was inspired by Camilla’s beautiful blue and green gown with black accents and wanted her makeup look to reflect the same colors as the dress. Here, the Chanel Beaute breakdown in Hung’s words.
Skin
Camilla has gorgeous skin but I still wanted to hydrate her entire face as it’s going to be a long night. I used CHANEL Hydra Beauty Camellia Water Cream (available on chanel.com in March 2019) all over her skin, CHANEL Hydra Beauty Micro Gel Yeux around her eyes and CHANEL Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Care over her lips.
After prepping, I applied a sheer layer of CHANEL Ultra le Teint in 30 on her face and neck and applied CHANEL Le Correcteur de CHANEL in 20 under her eyes.
To define the shape of her face, I applied CHANEL Soleil Tan de CHANEL around her hairline, temples
Eyes/Brows
I used CHANEL Stylo Sourcils Waterproof in Brun Profond on her brows to define and extend her natural shape. For the eyes, I traced a thick line of CHANEL Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Noir Intense along the upper lash lines and used CHANEL Les Pinceaux de CHANEL Eyeliner Brush blending the liner outward and upward. I then applied the green shade from CHANEL Les 4 Ombres in
Lips
To amplify the eyes, I wanted to create a soft, yet structured lip. I used CHANEL Le Crayon in Rose Délicat and then applied CHANEL Rouge Allure in Fleurie. I always love to finish a look with CHANEL Hydra Beauty Essence Mist for a refreshed and hydrated look.
