Celebrity hairstylist Sunnie Brook styled Claire Holt’s hair for the premiere of 47 Meters Down using Leonor Greyl.
Claire wore a powerful cranberry dress with matching cranberry lip and Brook said “I created a look that juxtaposed with the dress. Maintaining a chic and sophisticated appearance whilst keeping it timeless.”
Brook explained that the key to creating a polished look is using a really good conditioner like Leonor Greyl Crème de Soin a L’Amarante. “Especially with Claire’s blonde hair I wanted to keep it as shiny and bright as possible.” It was really important to use a conditioner like this that doesn’t build up and leaves the hair feeling weightless.
Brook then applied Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle to the scalp to add volume and also to the ends to protect the hair. Using a Dyson hair dryer on high and the Leonor Greyl Natural Boar Bristle Brush to control and maintain sleekness.
The hair was then parted down the center in a very severe center parting and Brook back-combed a little at the crown to build volume. She then tucked the two front sections behind the ears and secured the hair with some bobby pins at the nape and used Leonor Greyl’s Gel a l’hibiscus on the hairline to tame any flyaways.
Brook finished the polished look by misting the hair with Leonor Grey’s Voluforme to ensure hold and to hold the volume at the crown. The result was a super shiny, sleek, and polished look, not overdone yet extremely sophisticated.
