Curling mascaras are really having a moment right now so it’s natural Rimmel would throw their hat in the ring with Rimmel 24HR Super Curler Mascara. But they’re upping the ante by offering a super long wear formula.

The small stiff-bristled brush has a major curve to aid in the curling. While working in my first coat I found it hard to get the product to grip.  It took quite a while to achieve any build-up and I was left with a soft fanned effect (not bad.)  My lashes did look curled but not in some extreme fashion as my lashes have a bit of natural bend anyway. The product dried pretty quickly so my second coat didn’t really stick and wound up squaring off at the tips.  I combed through the tips with a clean spoolie and definitely avoided an afternoon touch-up.

While the look of the mascara didn’t pay off the long wear formula did; I needed two passes of eye makeup remover and soap and water.  You could almost use this as a short-term lash tint but for super curling/volumizing, you may want to layer.
