Makeup artist Matin created Claire Danes stunning makeup look last night. “She was wearing a beautiful capri-blue and navy dress. Because of the bright shade, I didn’t want her makeup too colorful. Her makeup had a feminine vibe, but very clean, very California-girl,” says Matin. Here, the beauty breakdown.

SKINCARE: I used CHANEL La Solution 10 de Chanel Sensitive Skin Cream, which I love, underneath Claire’s makeup. We also used CHANEL Hydra Beauty Nourishing Lip Care to prep her lips.

FACE: I did a really flushed cheek with this look, using two cream blushes. I applied a peach-pink shade, CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick in N°21, on the apples of her cheeks, and a bronze shade, CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick in N°20 almost as a contour. Then, I added CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Colour in N°50 across the face as a veil of bronze. For highlighting, I used a touch of CHANEL Limited Edition Perles et Fantaisies Highlighter, even applying some on her collarbone.

EYES: I applied CHANEL Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Iridescent across the whole lid, then dotted CHANEL Écriture de Chanel Eyeliner Pen in Noir under her lashes to create a thick lashline. On the top lashes, I applied CHANEL Le Volume de Chanel in Noir, and on the bottom, I added CHANEL Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Érable for definition.

LIPS: For Claire’s lip look, I applied CHANEL Rouge Coco Stylo Lipshine in Conte.
