For Lady Gaga’s Golden Globes look, makeup artist Sarah Tanno created a classic Sophia Loren eye and brow to compliment her iconic dress. Here, the beauty breakdown per Sarah.
For Gaga’s radiant skin, Sarah added a touch of Giorgio Armani Prima Glow-on Moisturizing Balm for a fresh glow. She corrected and concealed with Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Makeup Stick in 210 Buff and then applied the new Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow Foundation in #5.5 all over her complexion. She defined with Giorgio Armani Maestro Bronzer in #100 and buffed Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer in #5 to create the peach glow.
EYES:
Sarah and Lady Gaga went for a classic Sophia Loren-inspired eye with a navy metallic spin to make it more modern. For the foxy statement brows, Sarah used Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow Maestro in #2 and #5. She layered with Giorgio Armani High Precision Brow Pencil #3 to capture the fine hairs. She started the eye with a neutral wash of Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Quad in #11. She then mapped out the shape of the eye with Lancôme Le Stylo Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner in Noir Intense. Next, Sarah cheated the shape of the eye by exaggerating it with Lancôme Le Crayon Kohl Eyeliner in Blanc on the inner water line. She topped off the lash line with Lancôme Drama Liqui Pencil in Parisian Night layered with Giorgio Armani Eye Tint in #2. Sarah packed in Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Quad in #5. Sarah states that “layering helps to add dimension and makes the navy metallic stand out which brings something modern to such a classic look.” She topped off with several layers of Lancôme Grandiose Mascara in Noir Mirifique and added false mink lashes.
LIPS:
Sarah created a soft natural lip to keep the focus on the eyes and brows. She lined Gaga’s lips with Lancôme Le Lipstique Lip Coloring Stick in Clair. She then mixed Lancôme Color Design Matte Lip Color in Inconspicuous with Lancôme Absolue Precious Cells Nourishing Lip Balm Honey-In-Rose to keep the lips lasting but soft and kissable.
