It’s a little known fact outside of the beauty realm that the most talented makeup artists rarely wear a stitch of the stuff themselves. Diane Kendal is one of most esteemed of all, and she rarely dons a dollup. In a rare instance of art imitating life, the models she “worked on” backstage at Alexander Wang’s Spring/Summer ’16 show wore not a stitch either.
“For this collection, Alex wanted to go back to the feeling and style of when he started, which was quite street. The beauty is raw, the girls are meant to kind of look as they are, with a little bit of grooming but nothing ‘done’.” The look? Just NARSskin Luminous Moisture Cream and brushed-up brows.
