Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Shampoo + Conditioner ($5.99 each): I’ve already admitted I have a monoi addiction and this shampoo and conditioner is the latest addition to my monoi stash. Anything that makes my bathroom/ hair smell like tahiti is a favorite in my book. Plus it’s sulfate free (if you c about that stuff).
Benefit They’re Real Mascara in Beyond Blue ($24): Blue mascara used to be the Maybelline Great Lash mascara that I buy on accident when I wasn’t looking at the label correctly. But I actually purposefully bought this blue tube. I can’t tell you how many compliments I get when I wear it. With lots of layering it can be super bright, or you can just do one or two coats for a subtle shade. More than anything else, it’s just super fun. Sometimes I’ll do a whole eye look or just wear it alone. If you’re scared of colored mascara, then hit up YouTube for inspo. I like this look a lot.
Mario Badescu Botanical Exfoliating Scub ($26): Again, another addition to a long time love, Mario Badescu’s new face scrub is super creamy. This isn’t for those who like a Clarrisonic level scrub (which I must admit I love), but rather someone looking for a gentle degunking of the skin. And because it’s so gentle, you can use it 2-3 times per week.
Marvis Toothpaste In Jasmine Mint ($10.50): In my 3+ years at Rouge 18, I don’t think I’ve ever written about toothpaste. It’s actually quite boring and common place. But, as with many things, the Italian version is beautiful. Marvis Toothpaste comes in the prettiest packaging but my favorite part is this unique flavor: jasmine mint. I honestly would never pick this flavor myself but when someone else picked it for me and I found myself in LA, with only my mini jamine mint Marvis to clean my teeth, I tried this flower flavored paste. And I loved it. It wasn’t floral and gross, it was actually refreshing and subtle. I liked it so much that I now have a full-size tube and use it everyday, twice a day.
