L’Oreal Paris was kind enough to invite me to the premiere screening of The Age Of Adaline last night, so Andrea Lavinthal and I actually even got caught up in Blake Lively’s “blonde-terage” (as Andrea called it) when we tried to beat the crowd out of the theater. Blake looked positively luminous, so once I scored the details from Elaine Offers on the makeup look, I had to share it. “Blake’s red Monique Lhuillier dress was super glamourous in that old school way. It was such a classic red carpet look – something you might see in Cannes. We kept the makeup on-theme and timeless,” said Elaine. Here, the beauty breakdown.
Elaine prepped skin with L’Oréal Paris RevitaLift Miracle Blur ($24.99) for a smooth base complexion. She then used L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Sun Beige ($14.99) for all-over coverage and a flawless finish. She topped cheekbones and corners of the eyes off with accents of Magic Lumi Highlighter($12.95) for added radiance.
Elaine turned to mid-tone browns in the NEW L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude ($19.99) to add dimension to Blake’s eyes, further contouring the corners with a darker brown shadow shade. Next, she applied L’Oréal Paris Smokissime Eyeliner in Black ($8.99) close to the lashline to add dimension. For additional twinkle, she lined waterlines using Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter ($8.99). L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Plumper in Light/Medium ($8.99) was used to arch and fill in brows. Elaine coated lashes with L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Mascara ($7.29).
Lips were painted with a combination of L’Oréal Paris Infallible Lipliner in Coral ($8.99) and L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Balm Pop in Bold Blush ($7.99), as Elaine wanted the end result to be shapely and pretty.
Her hair was also a VISION, I’m working on getting the breakdown on that, lest you worry. What do you think of Blake Lively’s makeup look at last night’s Age Of Adaline premiere?
