This Friday, I’ve got spring on my mind and some warmer-weather beauty essentials to share.
That floral cameo, BTW, is one of my gal Christy Meisner’s Crowns By Christy, and they’re festival fabulous. Real talk: My spring fashion concepts to dress constantly as if I’m going to Coachella, but never go (I’m not into crowds and port-a-potties, alas). Here, the Friday Five I’m loving this week, things that came across my desk and are proving to be immensely added-value propositions. (It seems I will never stop talking like that, even on the 3-year anniversary of my leaving the financial world utterly).
Pantene Repair & Protect Collection undoes whatever heat-tool related sins you’ve inflicted on your strands.
L’Occitane Iris Bleu & Iris Blanc surprised me with its fiercely fresh take on velvety blue iris and gossamer notes of white iris. I feel this is a scent that Adaline (of The Age of Adaline fame) would wear. It’s timeless, ageless and gorgeous. The soap and hand cream are sublime. $7 for the soap; $12 for the handcream at usa.loccitane.com.
Nudestix Moisture is a tinted moisture stick that is BLOWING MY MIND. I’m using it under my eyes, to prime my lids, to eschew lip flakiness. Basically, all over the GD joint. $24 at Sephora.com.
Essie Hubby For Dessert isn’t my favorite name in Essie’s arsenal, but the violet-mauve hybrid hue is. $9 at Nordstrom. com.
Groh Ergo Boost Daily Replenishing Supplement includes FIBER, a twist on hair pills I’d yet to encounter and what a bonus! Supplements are the best hair hack I’ve come across; my lengthy locks are the longest they’ve been in my life, thanks to my commitment to pounding different brands’ iterations back on a daily basis. This one contains antioxidants and bionutrients to replenish the body’s natural building blocks and supports a healthy immune system. $152 for the kit, which includes 2 skin-care items, hair and scalp; conditioning treatment and the supplements. What’s on tap for the weekend, friends?
