Brand Ambassador for ghd, North America David Babaii, created Kate Hudson’s sleek updo for the Golden Globes 2015. Here’s how to get the look, per David.
“To create this look, I used the ghd eclipse™. I love this flat iron because it features ghd’s patented tri-zone™ technology with three heat sensors that keep the temperature at 365 degrees – optimal for styling. The ghd eclipse™ leaves hair looking incredibly shiny, sleek and smooth. First, blow dry hair using the ghd air™ hairdryer and a round brush. Part hair down the middle, then divide into 3 sections: two in the front and one in the back. Starting at the back of the head and working forward, take 1 – 1 1/2 inch sections and straighten the hair with the ghd eclipse™. Pull hair into a tight bun on the back of your head. Use bobby pins to secure.”
Dolce&Gabbana Makeup Artist Christian McCulloch created Kate’s luminous Golden Globes makeup look. “Kate epitomizes the ultimate golden California goddess,” said Christian about the look he created for Kate. “She’s a true beauty inside and out. Her makeup look was all about varying shades of tan, bronze and gold to complement her gown.” Here, the D&G products he used.
