Official Mascara Correspondent Ashleigh takes on ck one Volumizing Mascara today. Is it all it’s cracked up to be? Here, her review.

ck one makeup is known for its effortlessly chic glamour.  The packaging is shiny white and matte black and just reeks of luxury. I’ve used their highlighters, eyeshadows and lipglosses, so I was anxious to try the mascara.

The brush here is hourglass-shaped with fluffy bristles.  When pulling from the tube, there is a generous amount of product on the brush; to me this says you’ll get easy build-up.  While the formula allows for a lot of playtime, it takes a bit of working to adhere and gain any volume or length.  With one coat, my lashes were fluffy and flirty and each lash was coated from root to tip.  A second coat gives you more density at the root and soft taper at the tips.  My lashes were long and curled with good clumping happening at the base.

This mascara is pretty hydrating, so my afternoon touch-up allowed for  healthy boost of lash for the evening.  I needed eyemakeup remover at the end of the night, but in general this mascara is really nice. While not groundbreaking, this is a great mascara.  This is a good buy for the mazzie junkie!
