Last night I journeyed on down to Eva Scrivo’s salon on Bond Street where P&G Beauty hosted a #GetGlowing beauty event and I scored this side-fishtail with the help of colorist Meri Kate (though she does a fine braid for a non-stylist!). After my ‘do was done with the help of Herbal Essences Naked Dry Shampoo to give my fishtail gravitas, I caught up with Eva while her sister, Vinnetta, touched up my makeup. Eva shared this mic-dropping hair tip that’s so simple, yet so chic: “Take a small piece of leather in a shade that perfectly matches your hair color and tie it around the bottom of your braids [like she did for me in the pic above] or even around your ponytails.” She keeps leather in hues ranging from platinum to raven on-hand at the salon for this specific purpose.
