Leslie Mann’s mane is a covetable thing per ush, but never so much as it was at the MTV Movie Awards last night. In between striking poses with Nicki Minaj, Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton, the actress showed off her wavy hairstyle created by celebrity hair stylist Ryan Trygstad using Kenra Professional. Inspired by a modern Bridgett Bardot, Trygstad gave Mann sexy, full hair with lots of movement and texture to complement her polka-dotted Juan Carlos Obando dress and neon Saint Laurent stilettos. “We wanted her to look playful, yet sophisticated, so I created a hairstyle reminiscent of 60’s red carpet hair,” he said. Here’s how Ryan got the look.

Trygstad first blew out Mann’s hair with a small round brush and using Kenra Platinum Blow-Dry Spray ($22, ulta.com), which helped loosen and de-frizz her naturally curly hair.

To create the loose waves, Trygstad used a 1 inch curling iron. Before using the iron, he sprayed each section of her hair with Kenra Platinum Working Spray 14($22, ulta.com ), which sets the curls and give them a bounce effect.

After curling the hair, Trygstad combed out the curls with a large tooth comb and spraying each section with the Kenra Platinum Silkening Mist ($21, ulta.com ) for a weightless finish. To finish the hair look, he back combed the roots to create a slight lift for the ultimate 60’s inspired red carpet look.
