• You’re probably better off skipping a full face of makeup—instead opt for a light BB cream, a few pats of concealer and a dusting of glowy MAC Cosmetics Mineralized Skin Finish. Mascara should no doubt be waterproof (like this one from CoverGirl) because raccoon eyes aren’t fun or free-spirited  

• Bright lips are totally fun but you are better off sticking with a balm—way easier to apply sans mirror in the 90-degree weather than a super pigmented lipstick. Burt’s Bees tinted balms provide just the right pop of effortlessly cool color

• Fun nails are a festival essential because they are free of any hot-weather drama and there is no better time to rock crazy colors. I am obsessed with the new Sunsational summer collection from China Glaze. My fave neon is the electric orange in “ Son of a Peach” and I can’t wait to rock the hot pink jelly “Heat Index”

• Face Mist: Yeah yeah yeah, this Evian one is just an $11 bottle of water, in a misty can but I love it. And I promise if you go around spraying it in peoples faces you will make lots of friends
