Fictitious Fragrance Fan: ‘Mean Girls” Regina George

Welcome to  BBJ series, Fictitious Fragrance Fans. Fragrance is one of the most difficult areas of beauty to discuss and I find myself trying to convey a scent to you, more often than not, by the pop culture character it embodies to me. So why not make it a thing?

Regina George of Mean Girls is the meanest girl since the late Heather Chandler. As Damien so wisely noted, she’s fabulous, but she’s evil. She enjoys many things, namely, pink, the mall, Kalteen Bars until she learns they’re making her fat instead of bloating her up before burning up all her carbs and Aaron Samuels’ hair pushed back.Though Janice Ian snarked that Regina George smelled like a baby prostitute, I’d posit that she smells like Suave Deodorant in Everlasting Sunshine In fact, it’s the olfactory equivalent of that photo of a Gerber daisy on the package.
Coincidentally, I think it’s also Legally Blonde’s Elle Woods’ scent. It smells like an elegant candy necklace with a hint of caramel and a bright, sunny banana note.

I imagine that Regina decided to test out a different deo brand since reading that you can become immune to your deodorant in Cosmopolitan magazine. She definitely bought this one at the CVS at the mall and wishes she could get it engraved with an “R” to customize it. Her mother is working on that.

Best of all, it costs a wallet-friendly $2.90, so even a high school student can swing it. At that price, you’re gonna want to score FOUR for you, just like Glenn Coco (you go, Glenn Coco). Just know that the rose hue on the packaging doesn’t count as your pink item for Wednesday

Buy Suave Everlasting Sunshine Deodorant at drugstore.com. Shut up, I love that scent on you. Trust, it’s fetch
