The Zero + Maria Cornejo NYFW Fall 2013 Collection was inspired by Felix Baumgartner, an Australian skydiver and parachute jumper, who became the first person to break the sound barrier without vehicular power on his descent. Lead makeup artist, Romy Soleimani for Beauty.com using Kevyn Aucoin, incorporated a blue graphic element along the top of the eyelid usingThe Kevyn Aucoin Eye Shadow Duo #206. Unlike other ‘winged’ eyes, the line does not come to a point; it is geometric and modern. Soleimani created a fresh, clean face and a natural flush on the apples of the cheeks using a mixture of The Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Glow in Patrice and Mystere to recreate that natural winter look. The makeup perfectly accentuated the graphic, texturized and contemporary fall collection. Here’s how Soleimani got the look.
Face
· The Sensual Skin Enhancer: Only used to cover imperfections on the face, for a fresh, and not-overly-made-up look
The Eyes:
· The Eye Shadow Duo in #206: Applied using a wet brush to the top of the eyelid to create a graphic blue line
· The Volume Mascara
· The Eyelash Curler
Cheeks
· The Creamy Glow in Patrice and Mystere: Created a natural wintery flush to the apples of the cheeks
Lips
· The Flesh Tone Lip Pencil in Medium: Used to slightly stain and tone down lips
· The Lip Balm
