Fictionary: Asspirational

Fictionary is a column showcasing beauty-related words that don’t exist, but should.

The credit for today’s Fictionary term goes to Victoria’s Secret Beauty publicist Jessica Someck. Super-sciencey SkinCeuticals, one of my favorite skin care brands, is busting out the big guns for everything from your gams to your decolletage to your behind with their new body collection. If Fashion Week’s scantily clad models’ rear views are simply asspirational for you at the moment, and diet and exercise can only go so far, you’ll want to check out SkinCeuticals’ offerings to prep your bod for summer swimsuits.

SkinCeuticals is launching a Body Retexturizing Treatment for dry, rough skin; a Body Tightening Concentrate to lift and a Neck, Chest and Hand Repair designed to brighten and refresh. If gravity’s your tush’s gravest guerilla, you’ll want to try the hyaluronic acid-spiked Body Tightening treatment.
Formulated for gravity-fighting body zones including the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, knees, and upper arms, this cooling fluid stimulates collagen and GAG* synthesis to re-inflate skin, resulting in a smooth, tight surface. This targeted treatment increases the stimulation of collagen co-factors, which help to organize collagen in a most Martha Stewart-esque manner into stronger, firmer structures. The result is surface contour remodeling and a lifting effect.
