The final installment of The Twilight Saga is nearing and you’d think that I’d develop some more high brow interests since the series began when I was 28 and seeing every single new movie on opening night at midnight. But you’d be wrong. I’m trying to wrangle Tamar and Dina into buying midnight tix with me as we speak. In the meantime, what could be better than the marriage of beauty and vampires? NOT ONE THING!
Essence cosmetics is launching a special limited-edition makeup collection in honor of the franchise’s latest flick. Mysteriously romantical hues, great color payoff and a beautiful blush I’ve been employing in an off-label usage as EYE SHADOW! I KNOW! It’s great for creating an oxblood trendy gaze and goes great with my green eyes. I combine it with a bit of maroon/aubergine pencil to bring the red down.
