Odile Gilbert for Kérastase Paris created this beautiful updo for The Row‘s Spring 2013 show. I’m off to London in early October and come home the night before I have to be in Massachusetts for a wedding and I’m thinking this twisted updo may be the way to go. Here, the rundown on how to create this elegant look.

Prep damp hair with Ciment Thermique and Mousse Volumactive
Rough dry hair, wrapping strands around fingers as you go
Divide hair into two sections behind each ear
Twist each section in a backwards direction and then begin twisting and pinning them together
Tie the twists with an elastic, tucking the ends underneath the style and pinning into place
Fluff up the texture at the top of the head with fingers and lightly spray with Double Force Hairspray for hold

Kérastase Products Used To Get the Look:
Ciment Thermique – leave-in thermo-protective milk for weakened hair
Mousse Volumactive – amplifying mousse that provides hair with strength and substance, with flexible hold and blow-dry protection
Double Force – buildable holding, multi-protective hairspray for weakened hair
