You wake up at Seatac, SFO, LAX. You wake up at O’Hare, Dallas-Fort Worth, BWI. Pacific, mountain, central. Lose an hour, gain an hour. This is your life, and it’s ending one minute at a time. You wake up at Air Harbor International. If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?

Yes: you can wake up a dehydrated person. It doesn’t matter where you take off or land –airplane air is airplane air and it’s the same everywhere. It’s drying, stale and recycled so hydration is necessary. Here, my favorite in-flight essentials.
I’m loving this new Water Fuse Dr. Jart+ mask that goes on as a discreetly clear, moisturizer-like mask that doesn’t need to be washed off.
The Dr.Jart+ Water Fuse Water-Max Sleeping Mask is available at Sephora.com for $48.
Cooling eye pads, or if we are keeping with the subtle theme, eye pens like this one also work wonders for fighting bags and puffiness that undoubtedly arise from lack of sleep.
The Skyn Iceland Hydro Cooling Firming Eye Gels with HEXAPEPTIDE TECHNOLOGY are available on skyniceland.com for $30 for 8 pairs
The Skyn Iceland Icelandic Relief Eye Pen with Biospheric Complex is available on skyniceland.com for $20
Lastly, spritz a mini face spray periodically through the flight. I’m loving this one from Caudalie.
The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is available at caudalie-usa.com for $18. You might even land looking better than when you took off. Or at the very least, next to Brad Pitt.
