I recently attended the Shu Uemura Art Of Hair Volume Maker release at the John Barrett Salon in New York City. This fluffy-brush-ended tube disperses a poof of odorless powder with each click. Then, you just use your fingers to work the product into your roots (for lift) or through your hair (for texture and hold).

Mr. John Barrett came to greet us and talk about the product, which his salon has had exclusively for the past few weeks, saying that it was going to revolutionize hair styling. In the past, stylists had to rely on hairspray, balms and gels in order to mold hair the way that this fine powder can–and it does so without leaving any residue so you can click way without the “ am I putting in too much product” panic taking over. And then it occurred to me: while woman are going to adore this purse-friendly tool for insane volume-izing power and bonus dry shampoo effect, this little tube can change men’s hair forever.
