Makeup artist Kayleen McAdams created a retro, gorgeous look for vampy Deborah Ann Woll at the premiere of “True Blood” last night in Los Angeles. Here, the beauty breakdown, straight from Kayleen.
Inspiration? “The dress was very graphic, so I wanted to do a bright pop of color. I went with a creamy raspberry lipstick and kept the eye soft.”
To get the look, follow Kayleen’s instructions. “I created a flawless complexion using Tom Ford Traceless Foundation in Alabaster, and Tarte Creaseless Concealer in Fair where needed. I set the skin with a bit of Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.
I defined her brows with Anastasia Tom Ford Traceless Foundation in Alabaster. On the lid, I used Benefit Cream Shadow in Birthday Suit all over, and Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Silvered Topaz in the crease, to contour. I lined the eyes with CHANEL Long Lasting Eyeliner in Taupe, and finished with Tarte Gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara in Black on the lashes.
Finally, I lined the lips with, MAC Lip Pencil in Beet and for that pop of color, applied Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in Cosmic Raspberry.”
I’m LOVING that raspberry lip on Deborah Ann Woll at the “True Blood” premiere and secretly want to recreate it TODAY. What say you?
Also, can you WAIT for True Blood to start again? I sure can’t.
