Official Mascara Correspondent Ashleigh Ciucci (whom I ran into last week at my fave new TACO joint! So much fun!) takes on Anastasia Lash Lifting Mascara this week ($22 at sephora.com). Does she give it a meh, feh, or a hell yeah? Read on and find out.  In Ashleigh’s words:

Anastasia is known for perfecting natural and groomed brows, so she should give you the same in the lash department, right? Well, she does, but almost too well. 

This mascara gives you soft pretty lashes, but doesn’t really give your lashes a lot of oomph! The small fuzzy brush applies the waxy formula to perfection. Your lashes will look full, flared and long.

 You’ll want to dive right in for coat #2, but you’ll find that the formula is a little too dry and can be a bit bulky at the tips. If you concentrate the product at the roots, you can build a bit of volume though. Same goes for the midday touch-up; a bit of density can be built, but don’t dare take it through the tips or you’ll be in Clump City.

It comes off easily with soap and water at the end of the night, which is a plus. If you’re a girl on a the go and want a one coat mascara, buy this babe.
