“To compliment Kate’s dramatic red lips and dress, I wanted to keep her hair sleek and elegant. I first started by blow drying her hair using Phytovolume at the roots to get some root lift. I then slicked her hair back into a high ponytail to accentuate her gorgeous cheekbones using Phyto Shine Defining Wax to get it nice and sleek. I then ran a flat iron over the ponytail, and held it all together with Elnette Hairspray and finished with Biolage Color Care Sheilding Shine Mist. Tip: The finishing touch to any elegant ponytail is to wrap a section of hair around the ponytail base securing with hair pins.”
