Is everyone LOVING this sexy cool fall air we’re enjoying in NYC in AUGUST (gasp)? 


I’m so delighted not to have my makeup sliding off my face. I know I could never live in a clime without seasons because I’m plum TIRED of my summer clothes by late August. After wearing them for three months, they just start to look… SLUTTY to me. Like, I can’t wait to cover up, rock some tights and some tweed and start constructing my beauty fashion concept for fall. Can you even? It’ll involve all manner of furs (faux, don’t get cra) and bright hues. And naturally, it’s not fall without a rockin’ red lip. In the summer, it’s straight up impossible to wear one. It would get all over your white-from-Mem-to-Labor Day duds.     Napoleon Perdis is just what I need to go more va-va-voom this fall. I’ve been sticking to peach/nude shades, but I think some red would do me good 🙂

    A rich true red lip goes best with a golden nude eye, crisp black eyeliner and mascara. Maybe some powder if I’m feeling it.
