L’Oreal skin care always exceeds my expectations of a mass line’s glide and capacity to improve my skin’s texture. And while I’m a fan, Carol is a super L’Oreal Paris skin care fiend. She’ll rebuff my offers for her to try much more high end, expensive potions and creams in loyalty to her coveted Skin Genesis. So while I’ve been loving my introduction to the brand’s latest skin care gem L’Oreal Paris Youth Code (the product’s easily spreadable and quick-absorbing texture really is impressive), I know our time together will be short-lived, as Carol will no doubt snap them up when I’m home in Philly over the holidays. In the meantime, let’s discuss the new formula, shall we? Let’s DO.
L’Oreal Youth Code is backed by a veritable decade of research that’s internationally patented. TEN years in a faboratory to create this formula! The skin care line boasts four new products formulated with GenActiv Technology, clinically proven to repair gene expression, enhance skin’s capacity for faster recovery after aggressions and unveil younger-acting skin. GenActiv Technology’s cocktail of ingredients includes Biolysat, Adenosine and peptides to coax skin into a faster, more youthful version of itself. Think of it as a Flux Capacitor for your skin without the Luxe Capacitor price tag. Biolysat, known as a good bacteria, works to activate the repair gene; it tells the genes to act faster in the recovery process. Adenosine, a molecule that naturally exists in skin’s DNA and is essential to proper cell functioning acts as an anti-wrinkle ingredient; it stimulates DNA and protein synthesis while producing collagen.
The suite of products includes
1. L’ORÉAL PARIS YOUTH CODE
SERUM INTENSE
2. L’ORÉAL PARIS YOUTH CODE
SPF 30 DAY LOTION
3. L’ORÉAL PARIS YOUTH CODE
DAY / NIGHT CREAM
4. L’ORÉAL PARIS YOUTH CODE
EYE CREAM
The Eye Cream is my pick of this suite, though each item yields impressive glide and texture. The eye cream comes with a metal applicator to depuff and calm your orbitals while the cream’s soothing formula softens signs of fine lines and wrinkles.
Each product in the L’Oreal Youth Code suite retails for $25 each and will be available in January 2011. A starter kit featuring smaller versions will be priced at $35.
What do you gals think? Is this something you’ll try out? Tell me in the comments!
