Last Giveaway of the Day: Gemvara Silver Initial Key Pendant

Here’s another giveaway, friends! It’s a giveaway bonanza this week on BBJ. We’re giving away a Tory Burch CD and a Peter Thomas Roth masque, now we’re shifting to fashion. This time, it’s all about a Gemvara Silver Initial Key Pendant.

I recently sat down with Gemvara founder Matt Lauzon and was fascinated by this 25 year-old entrepreneur’s cool choose-your-own-adventure type of jewelry site. You choose your own piece (ring, earrings, necklace, etc.), then pick a metal, and finally select a gemstone. The combos are infinite. Gemvara has generously offered up one sterling silver initial key necklace (valued at $215) for one lucky Beauty Blogging Junkie reader. The pendant was actually inspired by the key necklace Leighton Meester was sporting on the set of this season’s Gossip Girl. The winner will email me the initial she wants and Gemvara can customize it  and it will ship within two to three weeks.

    Who knew Thomas Jefferson could give such good advice for following trends?! This season I’m really into:

    -Making bold statements!
    Oversized cocktail rings, chunky cuffs, and of course the “statement necklace”

    -Motifs and Imagery!
    I’ve seen a lot of strong imagery this season including snakes, birds, elephants and coins!

    -COLOR!
    Rich purples and deep greens seem to really be standing out this season. Accenting these colors with teal and fuchsia and you get a killer combination!
