Official Mascara Correspondent Ashleigh Ciucci is back for this week’s installment! This time, she test-drives Stila Major Lash Mascara ($22). In Ashleigh’s words:
At first, I thought the packaging on this mascara would be tough to work with. Typically, if the handle side of the brush is small, it’s hard to get good leverage during application. However, the brush itself is small and dense, balancing well with the handle. The first coat went on well with a generous-but-easy-to-work-with amount of product. The small brush made it easy to get close to the root without smudging.
The second coat went on without clumping. Even though the formula is soft brown, it still managed to product a lot of depth. My midday touch-up bumped it up to almost false lash density at the roots.
The only negative is that I definitely need eye makeup remover at the end of the day. But all in all, I’d def buy this one.
