Official Mascara Correspondent Ashleigh Ciucci is back again, this time reporting on Laura Mercier Long Lash Mascara ($24), which she declares a win. In Ashleigh’s words:

This small football-sized brush is one of my favorite applicators of late. It applied this black formula easily from the base to the tips of my lashes.  The first coat was soft and flirty. Moving on to my second coat, I got a lot of soft definition and length.  

Midday, I popped the mascara on the outside corners of my eye only and it looked like I had on false lashes!  It built beautifully and I could’ve even applied a 4th coat.  

Even though I needed to use eye makeup remover at the end of the night, I’d buy this one in a heartbeat.
