The What’s On Your Vanity Series showcases a single beauty item the interviewee loves because it’s effective, but also she feels she must keep out on top of her vanity because the gorgeous packaging must be displayed.
I met the fabulous Tracey Lomrantz, who writes Glamour.com’s Slaves to Fashion blog and is Glamour‘s Contributing Style Editor while I reported on the red carpet for Glamour‘s annual Women of the Year awards. I nearly accosted to her find out what delish perfume she’d applied and she told me her secret sauce was Narciso Rodriguez For Her and I’ve since been hooked. Since I was so into her fragrance choices, I hit up Tracey to find out what beauty item is gracing her vanity. And in true fashion editor form, it’s truly a thing of beauty. Behold, in Tracey’s words:
My current beauty obsession is the Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil in the limited-edition bottle by Moyoco Onno. I love the product–it’s lighter than its name implies and leaves my skin feeling insanely soft–but I’m especially enamored of how gorgeous it looks on my vanity! I’ve collected a bunch of their limited-edition cleansing oils over the years and I always end up saving the bottles for something else–I dumped my Costco-sized Lubriderm into an old one covered with a beautiful cherry blossom pattern, and it makes my mornings feel instantly more luxurious.
A great write-up AND a fab tip! Thanks, Tracey! Stay tuned for more What’s On Your Vanity.
