When you’re craving a little European luxury without the depressing exchange rate or bank-breaking flight, do as I do and head over to New London Pharmacy. The selection is impeccable to the point that you’d consider it curated. The store houses under-the-radar international jewels Lenor Greyl, Aesop, Marvis, Patyka, and so many others. Of course, they stock up on domestic faves as well, like Marilyn brushes, Moroccanoil and Bumble and bumble.
I urge you to go see the fantastical Wesley, who will assist you in finding the latest to die items. I also adore the pharmacy’s new beauty director, Jessica. She is a wealth of beauty knowledge. Abby Fazio, the pharmacy’s co-founder writes the store’s online magazine, Behind The Counter.
I purchased some Moroccanoil Moisture Repair Shampoo* ($20) (no sulfates!) and Smoothies bobby pins* ($3) . The former infuses my heat-damaged locks with sulfate-free moisture and swathes it with argan oil (which my hair told me it loves). The latter are teeny tiny inch-and-a-half long bobbies: Perf for securing your tiny twists away from your mug.
New London Pharmacy is located at 246 Eighth Avenue in New York City.

Love New London Pharmacy. They have a good selection of niche fragrances too.
Awesome! Thanks so much Amber. Quick note though, Abby Fazio, New London Pharmacy’s co-founder, actually writes the online mag. Thanks so much for including it though, we’re honored!
