Celebrity makeup artist Ashunta Sherriff created a “worldly” look for
Alicia Keys at the 2008 American Music Awards in Los Angeles last night.

“She just returned from Southeast Asia and is getting ready
to go to Dubai and Abu Dabi. She found an amazing sapphire crystal Bindhi head piece to complement her Armani Prive gown,” says Sherriff. “The look was very regal, like Bollywood meets Hollywood, so I was inspired to create super golden skin and a soft, smoldering eye.”
