Arlenis Sosa is Lancôme‘s new Spokesperson! Arlenis, 19, who hails from the Dominican Republic, was discovered earlier this year and immediately began working with the likes of Steven Meisel and Craig McDean for American Vogue, Italian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and other top fashion publications.

Arlenis’ fellow spokespeople include Anne Hathaway, Kate Winslet, Juliette Binoche, Clive Owen, Daria Werbowy, Laura Morante, Selena Breed, Elettra Rossellini Wiedemann and Inès Sastre. Advertising featuring Arlenis will appear in 2009.

Arlenis will make her catwalk debut during New York’s Spring 2009 Fashion Week and will appear on the runways of more than a dozen designers, including Oscar de la Renta, Donna Karan, Carolina Herrera, Proenza Schouler, Zac Posen, Narciso Rodriguez, Anna Sui, Tommy Hilfiger, Peter Som and Rag & Bone.
