I was totally inspired by Annieytown’s wish list over at Blogdorf Goodman and decided to start my own annual wish list tradition! Here it is:
Wish List for 2008
1. To be able to afford to live by myself within the next year .
2. To be able to actually ATTEND the fashion week events to which I am invited and not have to miss out due to work obligations.
3. To find my holy grail hair stylist and colorist… or just a stylist at the very least.
4. To visit Italy.
5. To return to Monte Carlo – my favorite place in the WORLD.
6. I’m going to completely copy Annieytown of Blogdorf Goodman and wish for black nailpolish with pink glitter… because I didn’t KNOW that I was wishing for that, but she just brought that wish to the forefront of my mind. It’s as if it lay DORMANT until now. Would that not be phenomenal?
7. To meet Matthew Fox – if only for a minute!
8. LOST not to be horrifically truncated due to the writers’ strike… I believe there are only 8 eps for this season as of now!
9. To find my perfect face wash so I can stop being a facial cleanser whore – I find some that I like, but I haven’t been SEDUCED by one yet.
10. To visit the Tokyo Lash Bar at Shu Uemura in Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge.
Feel free to post your beauty or personal wishes in the comments! Here’s to an uber fabu year! CHEERS.
I have a recommendation for a face wash. I’m a HUGE fan of Mario Badescu’s products. He makes and enzyme gel cleanser that is great for ALL skin types!
You must try Desert Essence Thouroughly Clean face wash

I had bad skin when I was in college and even dermatologist stuff wasn’t helping out but this stuff works great in combination with the tea tree blemish stick by the same company!
Melissa – will do! In fact, that’s going to be the next week-long series. Let me know if you think of a good 80s song title I can use for the name, i.e., Pour Some Sugar on Me Week and Smooth Operator Week. I’m thinking it should incorporate the word face, clean, or wash. It’s harder than it seems!
Anon – I’ll check that out for sure! Thanks for the tip.
Lauren – Let’s discuss immed if not sooner.
Vonnie – Love your list! Best of luck to you!
marvelous list…I totally want to go to Monte Carlo. Italy was my favorite place, I really hope you get to go.
Check out my blog, I also wrote up my list of what I want to accomplish this year

I just read your wish list for 2008-have you ever tried Liz Earle’s Hot Cloth Face Polish? It is absolutely BRILLIANT and removes everything, even stubborn water-proof mascara. I think it is available in the States, but if not, make a trip!
omG. i dont love any facewashes either. ive tried 76.7 million too. let’s swap prior usages.
Yes, please review all face washes. I too am whoring myself around drugstore aisles and magazine friends’ beauty closet finds in search of perfection.
Oh, and count me in for the sparkling nail polish too. It sounds girly badass.
Will do Daneen! Hope you’re staying warm in Philly! 🙂
I know what you mean about the face wash. When you find one, let me know cuz I wanna be seduced too!
