Pursue Greener Pastures

You know how difficult it is for me to get my hair to grow. I’ll try anything in the name of long hair (like Appearex, for instance). So when my friend Liza suggested I try this supplement called Dr. Ben Kim’s Greens, saying that after only a few weeks, her mom’s and sister’s hair grew like weeds, I was naturally right on top of that, Rose.

Basically, the stuff ensures optimal nourishment of one’s cells with the numerous health-promoting antioxidants and phytochemicals that naturally occur in green vegetables. These nutrients are easily absorbed into the bloodstream, just like the nutrients in freshly pressed green vegetable juices are.

It costs about $40.95 per bottle plus S&H, which is expensive for some unearthly reason – like, $15.

Here are the health benefits:

* Strengthening of immune system

* Improvement in mental focus and clarity

* Increase in energy level

* Improvement in digestion

* Healthier, softer skin

* Stabilization of blood sugar level and blood pressure

* Reduction of and sometimes complete recovery from food-related and seasonal allergies

* Detoxification of heavy metals, pesticides, and other toxins that have accumulated over time

I mean, the only kind of heavy metals I want in my lifestyle is Metallica and even that’s only when my iPod is set to “banger mix”. AND I found that I lost weight (not a lot, but a couple pounds) from drinking a tablespoon of it once a day, mixed with water. I think this was due to its aiding digestion. Anyway, it tastes like hell. Not like bad medicine hell, but like seaweed/herb/powder hell. Get over it, the stuff works. My hair is growing a lot faster these days. This is also due to my highlights embargo (I’m only doing hairline highlights these days) but I’ve noticed a signif improvement specifically since I started drinking Dr. Ben Kim’s Greens every day for the past few months. I can even relax now when my friend Jill and her roommate Laura, both veritable Rapunzels, constantly complain that their lower-back length locks are “soooo short.” Get it here.
