I cannot get ENOUGH of Trader Joe’s. They have absolutely delish, affordable food and whoever is in charge of marketing over there is a GENIUS. Italian food is labeled “Trader Giotti”, Chinese is “Trader Ming” and Mexican is “Trader Jose”. Is that too much or what? It’s such a small detail, but I get a kick out of it every time. Anyway, I know this isn’t a food blog, but you must check out their Chunky Spiced Applesauce, it’s sugar-free and so wonderful that even my 105 lb-double-stuf-oreo-dipping roommate J wants to try a bite. I come home with two enormous bagfuls of food for less than $60, which in New York, is unheard of.

Now onto my recent revelation: their beauty products. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving, friends! I became addicted to their Citrus Moisturizing Lotion with Vitamin C. It comes in a 16oz container for about $3.00. Okay? Then, on a whim, I purchased their Honey Mango Shave Cream, also a bargain at around $3.00. A) Honey and Mango should never be separated again, the smell is DIVINE. B) it’s so moisturizing and easy to apply due to its squeeze tube packaging, that even a total klutz like me whose legs usually resemble the end of a horror movie now look smooth and supple. Check it.
