Upon unscrewing this mascara for testing, you can hear the *slurp* of the ultra-hydrating formula. The brush is bullet-shaped with stiff bristles to help control the rich product.  With my first coat, I’m expecting VOLUME! THICKNESS! LASH! But unfortunately, while I like the shape of my lashes (separated and fluffy) there’s not a ton impact.

Because the product is so wet, I made sure my lashes were dry before applying a second coat.  There’s a little more build-up, especially at the roots, with a subtle flare and taper at the tips. By midday my lashes were still soft so I really went to town with a third coat.  This is really where I saw some volume and kind of wish I would’ve pushed it from the start.  The formula washed off with soap and water which is a plus.  

Despite the nice effect and easy removal, I wouldn’t buy this one simply because it over-promised and under-delivered in the volume department.
