Chanel Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee did the makeup honors for the beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley last night. “I wanted Rosie to be a little more velvety because she’s very statuesque. I wanted to do something a bit more classical; I didn’t want to go too fashion.”  Here, the beauty breakdown.

SKINCARE: I started by prepping the skin with CHANEL Hydra Beauty Essence Mist and Hydra Beauty Sérum.

FACE: For the complexion, I used CHANEL Perfection Lumière Velvet Smooth-Effect Makeup Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 15 with a little Makeup Forever Uplight. I like to apply the highlighter first and work over with foundation so I can control how much shine I get. For the fronts of the cheeks, I usedCHANEL Powder Blush Rose Bronze, which is rad.

EYES: On the eyes, I used a red-brown shadow, washing the color from the lashline to socket line and extending the shape slightly. I traced a thin black line along the base of the lashes and finished the eyes with CHANEL Le Volume de Chanel Mascara in Noir.

LIPS: After highlighting the crest of her upper lip for dimension, I applied a peachy-pink lip shade, CHANEL Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in La Délicate, in a very sheer way.
