Keri Russell, one of my very first girl crushes, looked BALLER at the season 4 premiere of “The Americans” this weekend. Tina Turnbow did the makeup honors, focusing on clean-faced beauty with a dramatic lip and clean eye, accented by “a flushed cheek for a healthy glow.” Tina prepped Keri’s skin with Baszicare’s Sirius Ultra Dewy Cream ($288), which provides essential but lightweight hydration with a Rose of Jericho and blood orange extract. Next, she used Baszicare’s Artius Eye Vital Supreme ($320), which contains caffeine and algae extract, “around her eyes and on top of the cheekbone and eyelids to create a dewy lid.”

For the skin, Tina applied Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundation in shade #235 and applied Charlotte Tilbury concealer in shade #2 only where needed. She then applied Tata Harper Cheek Tint in Very Naughty on the apples of her cheeks with her fingertips.

To enhance her eyes, Tina curled Keri’s lashes, then applied two coats of Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara on top and bottom lashes. She skipped eyeliner and eyeshadow, choosing to only “use the Baszicare Artius eye cream on the eyelids to create a nice sheen.” For her brows, she used NARS Brow Perfector in Caucase and Tarte Tinted Brow Gel in Rich Brown, leaving them “brushed up and feathery”.

Keri’s dramatic lip was created with NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Palais Royal, used to line and then fill in a full lip. “I like to dab the color mainly in the center with my finger as well,” she explained.

As a final step, Tina misted Keri’s face with Baszicare’s Roseus Floral Hydrating Toner ($110) to “set and give more glow to the skin”. The toner is enhanced with rose hydrosol, which soothes, revitalizes and nourishes the skin.
