French brand Annick Goutal, known for their light and airy perfumes, just opened up an (amazing) new shop on Madison Avenue. The place is a scent lover’s heaven: Full of perfumes, creams, and candles that will make you grateful for your sense of smell.

Since the summer months have not been kind to my skin, I wandered straight to the face creams. Their Creme Splendide delivers just the same satisfaction as their perfumes do. Goutal brings her love for roses into this cream, which smells amazing but is not too overpowering to apply to your whole face. And even though the cream itself is on the thicker side, it didn’t leave my face with that sunblock feeling — when you can actually feel the product on your face. This cream blends right in and left my face feeling amazing AND smelling like a rose. Could you ask for anything better?!

Made from fresh white rose cells, centifolia rosewater, and wild rose oily extract, this cream delivers some serious hydration. I apply some in the morning before I put my makeup on and at night when I have taken all my makeup off. The only thing better than the cream itself its packaging. It will definitely stick out from the hundreds of other face creams you have lying across your bathroom counter with its elegant rosy design. (In my case, hundreds is seriously not an exaggeration.)

Don’t forget to try out the perfumes as well when you check out this brand! They’re releasing 3 new scents later on in the year, but they still have tons of other amazing scents to choose from. (My personal favorite was Petite Cherie: it’s an amazing pear scent).
