For Dakota Johnson, celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff focused on healthy, vibrant and glowing skin from head to toe, with a sultry elongated cat eye to compliment Dakota’s sparkly Chanel dress at the 2015 Met Gala.

“I began with the skin and I made sure to spend time prepping her face with masks for a big moisture surge. This look was all about juicy skin, so first, I applied Sisley’s Black Rose Cream Mask on her face and neck and the Eye Contour Mask for the under eye area. I massaged this then let it sit for a bit, then used a hot wash cloth to remove it. Next I sprayed floral spray mist all over the face for some dewiness. I then applied radiant immediate lift to the high bones on the face and nutritive lip balm to the lips” says Dubroff. “We wanted her to look sexy, with tousled hair, but also very sweet. To go with tonight’s Met Gala Theme, we played with eyeliner and created a very elongated and graphic black eyeliner look, and played up her own natural lip color.”
