Though similar in fauxmenclature to its name fraternal twin, Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, BlowPro‘s new Textstyle Dry Texture Spray is a different animal indeed; one it would also behoove you to add into your product arsenal. Is Emily‘s French Ponytail (above) not officially The Business? I hit up BlowPro Global Educator (and purveyor of perfect blowouts) Gregory Patterson to score the how-to. Check it, below.
“Textured looks ruled the 2013 fall runway shows, it’s sexy and a little edgy. Blowpro’s textstyle, dry texture spray is an industry game changer. It creates instant volume and definition, blocks humidity, refreshes and revives hair. It’s a versatile formula that can be brushed out easily to create the next look.” Here, Gregory breaks down how to get the textured french ponytail “that’s perfect as a next day style or for a night out.”
Step 1: Begin with adding curls throughout the entire head with a 1-inch curling iron using the wrap technique.
Step 2: Separate curls with fingers and spray textstyle dry texture spray while scrunching to activate volume and texture
Step 3: Starting at the nape of the neck, gather hair into a low pony tail. Begin twisting the pony tail to create a French Roll and secure by pinning into the seam.
Step 4: Finish the look by wrapping a 1-inch section around the pony tail and lock in your look with blow out spray serious non-stick hair spray.
Textstyle is now available at Blow, The New York Blow Dry Bar or online at www.blowpro.com. Purchase one full size blowpro hair care product and receive a mini deluxe textstyle dry texture spray FREE!
