LOVING this braided headband style Marcus Francis created last night for the adorable Hailee Steinfeld for an “Ender’s Game” event during Comic Con. Here’s how to recreate it, straight from Marcus.
“On damp hair apply Oribe Maximista thickening spray to the roots. Comb through to detangle and apply Leonor Greyl mousse to the mid shaft and ends. Blow dry with a large round vent brush for full body and movement.
Take a small section of hair right above the ear and braid it, pulling it over the head to simulate a headband. On the opposite side connect the braid to a piece just behind the ear to anchor it from slipping. Do the same thing on both sides. Use a few small bobby pins to weave along the braids to secure it.
Spray the hairline and braid with L’oreal Elnet hairspray and apply a few drops of Keratase Elixir Ultime to the hair for a finished shine.”
